Fire Explosion Bumbungkan 300m in California

The explosion occurred in residential San Bruno in California, the United States andmembumbungkan flame to a height of 300 meters. One person was reported killed.

Reporting from The Telegraph, 10 September 2010, at least 23 people were injured inan explosion thought to have come from the gas pipe. The blast near San FranciscoAirport is expanding and 120 houses burned.

Residents around the thought that the explosion is heard coming from a bomb or an earthquake, and some even thought a plane crash. This explosion makes people panicand rescuing their possessions.

Fatalities and injuries immediately rushed to a nearby hospital to receive medicaltreatment. The explosion was first heard on Thursday evening around 6 o'clock local time. Because of the wind, the fire quickly spread to people's homes.

San Bruno Fire Chief Dennis Haag, said it had not confirmed the source of thisexplosion. "We found 53 homes had burned. Till tomorrow we can get a completeinvestigation results (regarding the source of the explosion," he said.

In suspected gas pipeline that exploded was owned by Pacific Gas & Electric Co..
